I just can’t get over The Florist. I’m in a flower-power-daydream and I never want it to end! I’m sure you’ve heard of this place by now – I’ve been seeing the Facebook Ads for weeks, and recently it’s been the hottest place in town.

Inviting people down to their launch was already a touch of brilliance in today’s day and age. Receiving beautiful personalised invitations of pressed flowers to our home just set the tone for how great the weekend has been, hosted by The Florist.
The pictures really do tell the story, and that’s going to be the reason people visit. The elegant decor is just an Instagram lovers fantasy. Not expense is spared, with everything finished in the right a proper way to create a bubble of floral finesse.
Saturday evening invited use lucky-chickas to enjoy cocktails, masterclasses and canapes. We were shown around by the beautiful hosts and welcomed to the new place taking over Liverpool. The cocktail menu is newly inspired; all aiming towards a more ‘clear’ consistency that adds to the silky tones of the venue. I had a dabble, and all were delightfully light and refreshing – a top of my list.
Everything at The Florist plays with your senses and it makes you feel comforted and transported into an Eden of pure paradise.
My favourite part of the evening was actually an Ale Masterclass that we had in one of the rooms that can be hired out for around 8 people for private functions. It was great to hear an expert talk so confidently about how lagers, ales and other brews created the tastes they did. If you love Sunday Brunch – drinkypoos time, then you would love this. I really liked that it was different to the usual cocktail masterclass. Although The Florist also offers these, I liked the variety. I love a cocktail, but nowadays I’m more of a beer gal – so I loved it!
Sunday consisted of more food than drinks, however we did still get to enjoy – and make – our own Bloody Mary Cocktails to help the hangovers of the night before! Never had a Bloody Mary before, so THAT was an experience, but I actually enjoyed it! I brought Dad along for this day date, and the food was AMAZING. Gorgeous roast dinner with definitely the best stuffing I’ve had. I went for the Lamb – just lovely. Usually, nothing can beat a homemade roast – but if you’re going to venture outside, The Florist offer up a classic.
It was fantastic to be able to experience The Florist in all of its capacities – as a place for drinks, a masterclass venue and a top class restaurant.
The staff were all delightful – a friend of mine actually works as a Host there – and she was particularly fabulous as always! Her personality reflects this beautiful place!
Coconut and Poppy Mojito… just go along and try it for yourself and see the wonders of this place.
