VIDEO: Santa Maluco

You’ve heard about Santa Maluco, right? And you want to know exactly what this Rodizio Pizza is all about…

Castle Street is a hub of beautiful buildings and restaurants; a real treasure for the city. Now, we have one more gem to add to the list. With Rodizio an ‘all you can eat’ style of restaurant service, we get to enjoy more pizza than ever before. Santa Maluco combines a Brazalian Flare mixed with old authentic Italian tradition, with pizzas all cooked in a wood fired handmade oven. My favourite!

Liverpool Bloggers - Santa Maluco MenuArriving at 2 Castle Street, we’re greeted by a fabulous lady in feathers. From the Viva Brasil Samba group, Simone Reeves and her booty-licious diva’s entertained the crowds of pizza lovers.

Hustle and bustle all the way, with launch parties always exuding that electric buzz – catching everyone in the moment. To describe this would be a big event, for a small space.

Ordering the Bubble Gum Sour was an act of genius; sweet and scrumptious – it was the cocktail that kicked off my appetite.(Rum, Bubble Gum, Fresh Lemon Juice & Whites) I’ve attached the menu beside this, so pick out your favourite!

Being seated can mean you enjoy your meal with others on one long table. I think if you’re with your girl gang, and drinks are flowing, with pizza coming around – you’re all for it and it’s a great idea to get people together. It’s a relaxed atmosphere with a modern twist. If you’re looking to chill out, request a table to dine on your own as they are available.

Handed our quirky meal guide, we discovered this was the key to our pizza heaven. It’s a type of spinner that has options which indicates to the waiters and waitresses if you’re still hungry for more food, keep it coming – or if you’re all pizza-ed out, please stop! With the launch sweeping Santa Maluco off its new feet, pizza was a little scarce on our side of the table – but this is what happens when everyone is major excited to celebrate the newest pizza place in town!

Favourite pizza slice = Duck. It was divine. And I could see people leaving their crust, and this really offended me because it was so god damn delicious! I want more and more, and it never to stop. It actually happens here – bliss!

For me, Santa Maluco is definitely a place I’d come back and visit. It’s a contemporary closet of pizza heaven, with a lot more to offer the city. I’m planning on a return trip soon, as I wouldn’t judge this restaurant on a very busy event. It has the atmosphere, the character and the location. Open from 12pm to 12am daily, it’s a sure stop to top up your pizza cravings whether it be lunch time at work, or snack time with drinks.

3 Things To Remember With Santa Maluco:

The food is fantastic.

The cocktails are candy-fun in a cup.

The place is decked out in an edgy style that encourages you to sit with a drink in one hand, and a pizza in the other.
